WE Awards

Since 2008, United Way Volunteer Connection WE Awards are presented annually to honor those who give their time, share their talents, and put WE  before ME, to make a better life in Marathon County.

Winners are selected from six categories (youth, adult, senior, family, group and corporate) and honored at their place of service during National Volunteer Week in April.  A certificate of recognition and award are presented.

To be eligible for this award the volunteer(s) either individual, group or business must have served an organization within Marathon County.  Affiliation with United Way is not required.  Active volunteer service must have occurred in the last year.  

Winners are chosen by the Volunteer Recognition Review Committee.  All decisions are final.  Nominations become the property of United Way Volunteer Connection and will not be returned.  Award winners must permit the use of their stories and photographs for media and promotional purposes. 

Nominate yourself or a special individual or group today. Nominations are due on or before April 1, 2011. Previous nominees are encouraged to submit their nominations again.
