2010 Community Project
The Council has selected Born Learning Trails as the first project to be implemented in spring 2010.  The Born Learning Trail is an interactive, playful and visible community engagement tool.  It captures 10 fun outdoor games on engaging signs to help parents and caregivers create learning opportunities for young children. Emerging Leaders members will determine locations of trails, work with city/county leadership to obtain permits, partner with local businesses, and coordinate volunteers for the installation weekend.  The group will create relationships and learn many things about our community and businesses in the process.

Other Opportunities
Emerging Leaders will be invited to particiapte in various other activities and volunteer opportunities year round. Be part of the network. Share your ideas and help us initiate new opportunities.
