AirFire Wireless Phone Program
Lifeline is a government supported program that provides free monthly wireless phone service and a free phone to eligible customers. United Way is helping to promote awareness of this program because lack of a phone is an obstacle to employment for many people and because eliminating a family’s phone bill also frees up dollars to be used for other basic needs.
