Normal Aging and Brain Health

January 19 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

Presentation by:

Kelly Atkins, Certified Dementia Practitioner

As we get older it is natural to wonder about how our brain functioning may be affected by the aging process and what positive steps we can take.   To learn more, we invite you to attend this program on Normal Aging and Brain Health.

You will learn what is normal memory loss and what is considered abnormal.  Learn what dementia is, the risk factors, and the myths surrounding it along with the benefits of a timely diagnosis.  Find out how to have a life balance and how that can positively affect brain health.  You will also learn about other good health practices that contribute to your overall brain function.

This presentation is co-hosted by United Way Retire United and United Way RSVP of Marathon County.  This event is free but registration is required to receive the virtual Microsoft Teams link to attend.
