Members of United Way Leadership Giving groups join a community of individuals whose caring and personal leadership accelerate and bring to scale the community’s ability to change lives. These leaders inspire others to give, advocate and volunteer, driving exponential impact as we work toward a Marathon County where everyone can succeed in school, work and life.
EMERGING LEADERS
This leadership group is developing the skills and harnessing the power of our next generation of leaders. Their service projects focus on improving early childhood learning and helping low income families meet their basic needs.
WOMEN UNITED
This leadership level philanthropy group provides a powerful structure to inspire and mobilize the giving power of women. Their primary focus is to help low income women with children overcome the barriers to being self-sufficient.
RETIRE UNITED
United Way of Marathon County’s Retire United program is designed for individuals who are retired or nearing retirement, and recognize the importance that philanthropy and volunteerism play in building a stronger community.
SUMMIT LEAGUE
Started in 1986, this leadership giving group of 800+ individuals and couples comprises almost 40% of all funds raised each year. Their generosity and caring spirit impacts people throughout the community.
