This United Way program distributes diapers and wipes to 12 area agencies throughout the year. From 2007-2019 more than 14,540 packages of diapers have been distributed. Donations, diaper drives, the community baby shower and the signature event raise funds for this program.
When a family is out of food, they go to a food pantry. But where do they turn when they run out of diapers? Many area agencies distribute diapers and wipes to families in need. Low income families, parents, grandparents and caregivers receive diapers during their time of need. Diapers and wipes are distributed at:
- Bridge Community Health Clinic
- Catholic Charities
- Children’s Hospital /FRC
- First United Methodist Church
- Grace UCC Pantry
- Head Start
- Hope Life Center
- Marathon County Health Department
- Rebecca’s Closet
- St. Paul’s Tiny Tot’s Closet
- The Women’s Community

Gift Wrapping at the Mall
During the holidays, a gift wrapping station is volunteer run and proceeds are donated to Bundles of Joy. This annual fundraiser offers a fun and festive opportunity to volunteer for a local cause, knowing your efforts provide essential items for babies and toddlers right here in our local community. Gift wrapping is at the Wausau Center Mall from Black Friday through December 24. Shoppers can bring holiday gifts to the Mall and can donate to Bundles of Joy.
In 2019 more than 600 volunteers donated 310 hours and wrapped 1,431 gifts. Fore more information about wrapping gifts during the holidays please contact Krista at email@example.com.
