The Great Carrot Harvest 2022

[Wausau, WI] The Marathon County Hunger Coalition, an initiative of United Way of Marathon County harvested 1,000 pounds of carrots from the Red Door Family Farm. These carrots will be distributed through community partners, like The Neighbors Place, to help those most in need.  

This year we invested in & provided fresh farm produce to over 1,700 households over the past 26 weeks, including our carrot harvest.

Thank you to our partners in The Marathon County Hunger Coalition, Red Door Family Farms, and Cattail Organics for helping us provide access to nutrition-dense produce to those that need it most.
