Stroke is the Number 5 leading cause of death in the United States and is a leading cause of serious, long-term disability. Stroke needs immediate medical attention which is why healthcare professionals are working to make sure people are quick to recognize the signs. Knowing the signs of a stroke is the first step in stroke prevention.
