Farm Harvest Day - Labor Day at Cattail Organics

Deepen your understanding of local food systems and discover firsthand how family farms play a critical role in fighting food insecurity as partners with the Marathon County Hunger Coalition, an initiative of United Way of Marathon County. Participants kick off the day with a farm tour and may be involved in harvesting and cleaning vegetables, helping with farm clean or infrastructure projects (based on the weather and group size) – come prepared to work, but also enjoy time spent with a team of people committed to fighting hunger in our community. Bring your own picnic lunch to enjoy with group if desired.
