Things to know about Partnership for Youth

• Implemented a diversion pilot “Tiers of Support” with D.C. Everest Senior High School, Wausau West High School, and Thomas Jefferson Elementary. This pilot integrates community-based services for students and families to address challenging behaviors and truancy with supportive rather than punitive approaches.
• Hosted the 2nd annual “Student Hiring Fair” where 32 businesses and welcomed more than 500 students, establishing better bridges to local youth employment.
• Nearly 200 youth-serving professionals attended “A Professional Development Day: Resiliency in Children” which featured a documentary on the science of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), followed by 15 local experts leading breakouts on related topics.
