Make a Difference Leaf Raking Event 

United Way of Marathon County 

Join United Way and help rake leaves for community members who are physically unable to do so and unable to afford to hire help. Your time helps ensure that community members are able to safely remain in their homes. Here's what you need to know before signing up:

Raking Dates: Saturday, October 24 – Wednesday, October 28

Backup Dates (weather): Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30

Assignments will be emailed by Monday, Oct. 12 if you have signed up to rake in advance; late registrations will be assigned as yards are available

What to Bring: Rakes, gloves, and any other tools your group prefers (tarps, leaf blowers, etc.). Homeowners provide leaf bags, but bringing extras is encouraged.

Leaf Disposal: Instructions for each yard will be included with your assignment. In some communities, leaves must be bagged or hauled.
