Information for Homeowners

How to Register Your Yard: Please do not call before SEPTEMBER 8.

• Call 211 or 715-848-2255 between 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday (Preferred)
• Or complete the form on our website STARTING SEPTEMBER 8. The form will be posted here.

Registration Deadlines:

• Priority Deadline: Friday, October 2 at 5 PM
• Waitlist Deadline: Friday, October 9 at 5 PM
• After October 9, new yard requests will only be accepted if volunteer capacity allows.

Important Information for Homeowners:

• Postcards with the date that a team will be raking will be mailed by Monday, October 12.
• If you do NOT receive a postcard, your yard was not assigned a volunteer group. We will contact you if a volunteer becomes available.

Homeowner Responsibilities:

• Have leaf bags available.
• Clear the yard of debris and pet waste.

Leaf pickup:

• Leaves will be collected by municipalities after raking days. If bags are not collected by Friday, November 1, call United Way at 715-848-2927.

Q: What if no one comes to rake?

A: Contact your assigned volunteer group (if phone number is provided). Otherwise, call United Way at 715-848-2927.

Q: What if I missed registration?

A: After October 9, registration is closed. Mark your calendar to call 211 next September.

Q: What happens if more leaves fall after raking?

A: Volunteers will not return. This is a one-time annual event.

Q: How do I thank volunteers?

Q: Can I offer food or drinks to volunteers?

A: Yes, but it's optional. Individually packaged items are recommended.
