Time: 02:30 PM – 07:30 PM
By volunteering at the Mobile Community Closet, you will directly support families in Marathon County by providing free clothing, lightening their financial load, and helping them take the next step toward stability.
As a volunteer, you will:
- Unload the Mobile Closet truck and set up the shopping area.
- Assist guests with the check in and check out process, and in finding clothing that meets their needs.
- Pack up the truck at the end of the event.
- Your time will make an immediate and lasting impact on families in your community.
Two shifts available.
Shift 1: 2:30PM – 5:00PM
Shift 2: 5:00PM – 7:30 PM

We're rolling into Marathon Elementary School Thursday, April 16 from 3:30 - 7 PM. Shop our racks at no charge and choose clothing that suits your style. See the Q&A below.
Q & A for Shoppers
Q: Do I need an appointment?
A: No. Just show up during mobile closet hours.
Q: Do all family members need to be present?
A: No. The shopper will be asked how many are in the household.
Q: How many items can each person have?
A: Guests are free to take 10 items per person in the family, plus a pair of shoes.
Q: For regular Community Closet shoppers, does this mobile event count towards the one time per month visit?

Q: Are there income restrictions?
A: No, you will not be asked about your income. Everyone is welcome.
