Mobile Community Closet at Athens Elementary School 

We need volunteers!

Join United Way of Marathon County’s Mobile Closet and help bring free clothing—and dignity—to local families.

Athens Elementary School Gym - 209 N Schlegal Street, Athens

• What You'll Do:
  Unload and organize clothing and display racks
• Assist guests as they shop for items
• Help with cleanup and packing up at the end of the event

Why It Matters:

This is more than handing out clothes, it’s about creating a welcoming, respectful experience for families in need. By volunteering your time, you’re helping ensure that everyone has access to clean, comfortable clothing, regardless of their circumstances. Your support helps stretch family budgets while reinforcing dignity and care.

Who Can Volunteer?

Individuals, families, and groups are welcome! Volunteers must be 18 or older; youth ages 12–17 may participate alongside a parent or guardian.
