Many elderly or disabled homeowners in the ALICE population struggle with seasonal lawn care, especially leaf removal. The cost of hiring these services is often out of reach. United Way of Marathon County is stepping in to make a difference by coordinating volunteers to rake these yards, enabling homeowners to care for and remain in their homes without bearing an extra financial burden.
